Father God,

Today, I pray for the broken hearted who struggle to hear Your promises of answered prayers. So many have been through so much and prayed so many times and still wait for answers. Their hearts burn holding on to faith. Their eyes sting from the tears. Their knees and arms ache from the ongoing pleas. Hear the cries for relief. Grant them eyes of hope and faith to see that You will complete in them what You started.

I pray that You would guide them on when to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord versus when they are to move forward following their Shepherd towards the green pastures. I pray that You would sustain them during the dark nights of their souls and catch their tears in a bottle. Guard the hairs on their heads and use the curses of the enemy for their blessing and provision.

Have mercy on us all that we might be found a faithful servant, willing to trust our heavenly Father to give us good gifts even when we have waited for so long for those answers to our hearts most longed for prayers.
