Connections

Home Connections

Today’s average websites contain a “links” or “resources” type page which transports you to another page which most often is just more real estate in cyberworld. In some sense, that is necessary for you to find your way somewhere else, but that somewhere may or may not lead you back to reality. I want these connections to draw you out of cyberworld and back into reality, At the end of these links, I aim to bring you directly or indirectly back into our earthly existence of body and spirit. May you benefit from this return to reality.

However, if these links were all you needed to turn the momentum of cultural decline around from its hastening downward spiral, this present site with its own essays and urgings would be unnecessary. When you visit these links, take discernment gleaned from Whole Person Whole Life and apply it to these sites as would any good Berean, comparing what they say to the truth of God’s Word.

These sites (including this present one) are not perfect as they are produced by fallen men and women. My inclusion of them here does not therefore endorse every last word they share nor every connection they make. If you find something that seems to contradict Biblical wisdom, let’s discuss before imbibing of potential errors hastily.

Light Hill Meats

Lauren recalled thinking that it was an unusual goal and that she had never heard somebody say that before. Did people really have that kind of desire? But she knew that if anyone was going to make it happen, it would be a guy like Ben. A few years later, that dream became a reality with Light Hill Custom Butchery.”

Christian Medical Providers – Middle Tennessee

Sanctuary Functional Medicine

“Self-promotion of my functional medicine clinic where the best of both worlds of medicine (conventional and natural) combine under the umbrella of root cause medicine treating the whole person under the guidance of God’ Word. We care for adults and children with complex and chronic medical illness.”

Hometown Healthcare – Dr. Joshua McCollum MD

“For nearly 20 years, I have had the opportunity to develop meaningful and lasting relationships with my patients here in middle Tennessee. This is the one aspect of the job I enjoy more than any other and feel it plays a vital role as I strive to completely fulfill my oath as a physician. However, over this same period of time, I have come to realize today’s business model of a primary care clinic is largely funded and shaped by insurance billing requirements and restrictions. It simply no longer permits the level of interaction I cherish with my patients. As you may know, a traditional primary care doctors’ only way to maintain their livelihood and achieve sufficient insurance-based revenues is by moving patients on a conveyor belt through the clinic as quickly as possible.” (from website)

Christian Medical Worldview Sites

Medical Science and the Bible (article)

“Should a Christian use the services of medical doctors? Does the Bible forbid the use of medicines? If it is not God’s will to heal the person miraculously right now, is it wrong to seek medical aid? Would seeking such help be interfering with God’s will?” (click title to read more)
