Father God,

Today, I pray for the fulfillment of Isaiah 54:4 as the barren one breaks forth into singing in response to the work of the Servant. I pray that we would respond to the Servant’s work for us with singing and with a conquering of fear as commanded in verse 4.

Cause us to respond correctly to the finished work of Christ and participate in the spreading abroad of the godly offspring to possess the nations. Though the world seem to outnumber us, multiply Your work and establish us in that work in security. As 54:10 promises, do not let Your steadfast love depart from us and do not remove Your covenant of peace. Have compassion on us as we walk in this present age.

Today, make us to rest in this covenant of peace which both promises eternal life and which promises that we will never be alone and defenseless upon this earth as we await that eternity. Give us the already victory of building the kingdom upon this earth as we await the not yet of the heavenly banquet before the throne with our Savior. Enable us to step into the day before us without fear for the Almighty goes before us.
