Father God,

Today, I pray for those who are pursuing Your ways in their various callings. I pray that each of Your children will see their work as done in Your Name, as done for Your glory. I pray that each would understand that their walk each day in carrying out the skills and talents You placed within them is their service to You.

So often, it can seem like those in a ministry calling are the only ones who are following God while everyone else is pursuing a lesser calling. In reality, we are all following You when we carry out our stations in life as done for Your glory. Our excellence, our commitment, our integrity, our perseverance all reflect upon who we are in Christ.

Strengthen our resolve to reflect honor upon Your Name in all that we do today whether extraordinary or seemingly ordinary. Work through us as Your Hands and Feet to build the kingdom.

In Christ’s Name,

Amen.
