Father God,

Today, I pray for those young children who despite the best of today’s medical care are still facing hospice and an early end to their lives. While modern day advancements have meant that we don’t see or experience as many deaths of children as they did in centuries past, there are still times when children face the approach of death far too soon.

As a physician, I have seen a few of these circumstances and am left with a profound sadness. For those whose child is already passed, I pray for their comfort and Your presence in their grief. For the ones now going through those times, I pray for healing and release from the grip of the enemy. I pray for the parents and family to have wisdom and strength through the storm.

Our spirits cry out for mercy upon such children who the world has lost hope for that they might still be restored.
