Besides our usual Tennessee August heat, we have another hot topic to look forward to in August thanks to Governor Bill Lee, a special session to consider gun laws.  Despite the urging of Tennessee legislators to back down from this special session, Governor Lee appears to be doubling down on his plan to push through legislation which would restrict certain individuals from purchasing and owning firearms.  While we still don’t have the whole story regarding the Covenant School shooting, Governor Lee is asking Tennesseans to give up Second Amendment freedoms too hastily.  Let him know that you do not approve.
